Check Guarantee with
Truncation (aka Conversion)
Never a bad check, ever. Most terminals support Check
Imagers. With an Imager you can capture an Image of a Check and
the MICR line on the bottom. The terminal transmits the captured
data to the processor where it is compared against a Negative
Database. Most Checks are approved. The check is then
converted to an electronic item, debited from the customers account and
credited to the merchants account. This all takes place in about
ten seconds. The customer signs a transaction receipt and you
give the check back to the customer. The checks are then Batched
and Settled to your Checking account at the end of the day. You
dont carry them to the bank. You can safely take Checks from
almost anyone from any state with the Check Guarantee and Conversion
program. |

Electronic Check
Collection
aka RCK this program is great for the merchant that does not take large
volumes of checks and is tolerant of some risk. You will take the
check as normal and deposit in your bank. If the check is
returned ISF your bank will forward the check to the processor.
The bank will send you a debit memo. The processor will then
Convert the Check to and Electronic Item and attempt to debit it from
the customers account. When the Check is debited from the
Customers account it will be Credited to the Merchants account for Full
Face Value. The processor will then debit the Customers account
for the state allowed fee. The processor keeps this fee.
There are No fees to the Merchant and No equipment to buy with the
Check Collection Program. |

Gift Cards
Gift Cards are like finding money in the street! A gift card is a
plastic card that is electronically loaded with a stored value [any
amount] and issued at the point of sales as a form of tender. A gift
card [also known as a 'stored-value card] is similar to a debit card in
form and function. It can be thought of as a pre-paid debit
card. Gift cards replace paper gift certificates, in-store
merchandise credits, coupons, and cash substitutes. They
are customized with your Store Name and Logo. Your Gift Card
program can look and function as professional as the big box stores
that you compete with daily. |

Loyalty Cards
A Loyalty Card is a Gift Card that is used like a bakers dozen or punch
card. The merchant creates a program offering a point system to
the customer rewarding them for purchases. After a pre-determined
number of points are accumulated the Merchant converts the points to
dollars as a reward for Loyalty. This system will create loyalty
by causing repeat sales as customers accumulate and redeem
points.

Fuel Man, Wright Express and Voyager are the most common Fleet Cards
used in the C-store environment.
